Student Member | Every candidate for admission as Student Member: a) Must not be less than 18 years of age. b) Must possess an educational qualification recognized by the council to be admitted as a student member. |
Licentiate Member | Every candidate to be eligible for a licentiate membership or up gradation to the class of Licentiate: a) Must not be less than 19 years of age and b) Must be a diploma holder in Engineering, Surveying, or architecture or must passed such examination as the council may accept as equivalent ;or c) Must possess educational qualification as prescribed for Associate membership or such other qualification as the council may approve from time to time. d)The licentiate member shall remit the life membership fee at the time of grant of Membership. e) The other guidelines for admission as Licentiate member may be fixed by the council from time to time. |
Associate Member | 1. Every candidate for selection as an Associate or for promotion to the class of Associate: 2. must not be less than 20 years of age 3. must have professional experience in the discipline for not less than three years from the date of passing his graduation or 1 years of experience in the discipline after passing post-graduation. 4. The other guidelines for admission as Associate member may be fixed by the council from time to time. |
Fellows Member | There is no direct admission to the class of fellow. Fellow status must be attained by educational and professional achievements. Every candidate for being eligible for upgrade to the class of fellow; 1) must not be less than 25 years of age and; 2) must possess educational qualification as prescribed for Associate membership or such other qualification as the council may stipulate from time to time and: 3) must have continuous experience of 5 years as an associate as on the date of application. |

Honorary Fellow Member | Honorary Fellow of the council may be conferred by the Institution on persons in India and abroad for their high eminence in valuation, Engineering , Finance or any other field. All such conferment shall be by invitation. The council shall prescribe the procedure for the purpose and the manner of bestowing the honor. The number of the honorary fellows shall be kept at reasonable level by the council.

Institutional Member | a) The Governing Board of DVAC may, at its discretion, admit to it as Institutional member any Public or Local Body, Company or Partnership Firm, Registered Society, or a Trust who may desire to be so attached. b) The criteria to become an Institutional member shall be fixed by the council from time to time. |
